You & Me

what day is it
and in what month
this clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up
and I can't back down
I've been losing so much time

cause it's you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to lose
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you

all of the things that I want to say
just aren't coming out right
I'm tripping inwards
you got my head spinning
I don't know where to go from here

cause it's you and me and all of the people
with nothing to donothing to prove
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you

there's something about you now
I can't quite figure out
everything she does is beautiful
everything she does is right

you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to lose
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you

you and me and all of the people
with nothing to do
nothing to prove
and it's you and me and all of the people
and I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you

what day is it
and in what month
this clock never seemed so alive

Lifehouse with you & me. This song has been playing in my head the entire day. While with joyce at orchard road for dinner, it struck me where, how perfect is the man you love when you see him? Does love covers everything? Is love the only possible meaning attached to a relationship that blocks out all negativity and flaws of each other? If so, love is powerful. So powerful.

Love seems to be a manipulative system that drives a person beyond its limits and capacities. Doing things noone thought they would, romance was all that they turn to. People in love, addictive like drugs.

So, how true isit that one who likes another sees them as perfect? or maybe even more? a flawless being? an imitation of God? Does love hold such power and manipulation to a human's mind? be it a girl or a guy, perfection always seem to fit those they love or like. the mind's deceit to rule out the negativities. thus, maybe falling in love can truly, thoroughly create optimism?

Where when two falls in love, they see each other as perfect and learn to actually embrace mistakes and accept flaws, thus growing up to know noone's perfect and not to expect too much outta everything. But always consider the counter force.

To balance this moment of optimism spurred by the connection of love, the selfishness and jealousy that builds in them causes a greater mishap to the people around. A simple 'i love you' may just become an imaginative third party popping into the picture. A simpe touch at the hand may cause a huge misunderstanding. Thus, the question now, is Love still an optimistic appraoch?

love being a manipulative system where it influences the change in personality and attitude must be able to be controlled somehow. Like how fire be controlled by people, Love is just another nature force that is yet to be explained and fully understood. A mind's game of deception and razor that rules and adds in endless possibilities.

The power of two people falling in love can be the greatest and deepest cut to the people around but yet, bring in the most joyful and sweetest moments to the lovebirds. Thus, always consider the counter force before falling in cause noone is perfect. it is the act of deception of the mind in this bobbling game of love.
